Re: Question of the day 7/10
Yes, during my first pregnancy. For the last month. No after about 25 days, I had to get up and do something. I swept the carport and later that night the little fellow made his appearance.

Fortunately I have never been put on bedrest. Although I didn't exactly follow the Dr's after c-sec instructions of no driving for 6 weeks.

Re: Question of the day 7/10
When I was recovering from hepattitus I was pretty much on bed rest - or couch in front of the tv rest. However, I was also told to go lay out in the sun each day - but not to get burned - for the Vitamin D. When I came back to work after 7 weeks off I had a really nice tan and some explaining to do!!!

Re: Question of the day 7/10
It's hard unless you feel *really* bad! ;) About 4 months after we got married I got mono - poor DH! I had also just started a new job! I was supposed to be on bedrest for 4 weeks. I was too tired to work but didn't feel bad enough to do nothing all day, so yeah, it was hard. And as an adult it's a lot harder to get over so that was frustrating!

Good luck!

I have not been on bed rest...although I do have to have a hysterectomy and will have to be in bed or on the couch for a week and that should be intersting..I am not a good patient when it comes to listening to EVERYTHING the dr. says...oops!

More than once! The only time I actually came close was the time I broke both feet and had to get around by crawling! Just call me Klutzy! :-D

Re: Question of the day 7/10
Never, but I sure could use some good bed rest for a few days anyway. LOL I wouldn't stay in bed though, I would stay in my recliner in the den surrounded by books, magazines, the TV remote, and Diet DP. I would have dh wait on me hand and foot and fall asleep whenever I wanted.
