Question of the day 7/10

Have you ever been on bed rest as prescribed by a doctor? Did you follow it?

I am currently ordered bedrest for 1 week...should be interesting with the girls home on summer vacation and the Aerosmith concert tomorrow night.

Only once when I was pregnant and no, I didn't follow it, lol.

Yes, when I broke my ankle the doctor made me lay down and keep my foot elevated I ahted that so much but I did it

I had to stay in bed for a week in the hospital under observation after being given new heavy-duty heart medication. Another time I had surgery on my foot and had to keep it elevated above my heart for weeks after. I spent a lot of time laying on the couch then. I couldn't walk around at all.

Yes, only once that I can remember. I had gall bladder removed and could hardly walk anyway.....it was kinda nice having someone wait on me for once!

(P.S. DO NOT miss that Aerosmith concert! The best concert I ever saw!!

Yes. One month when I carried Andrea, 6 months when I carried Robin and the last two months when I carried Emily. I was a much better patient with Emily and did as I was told but I also think it was much more serious with Emily. It wasn't easy with any of them but the outcome was so worth it!!!!!

Back when I was pregant, but it really was not bed rest. I could not do anything but just sit around the house.

Not that I know of. But sometimes when I'm sick I just stay in bed all time anyway.

Yes, when I was pregnant. I followed it as much as possible, but I had another child to take care of.
