do you ever leave your camera at home on purpose?
I mean, I have a large DSLR and a smaller P&S that fits in my purse, so you will not often find me without a camera, but sometimes I just want to relax and enjoy the time so I will leave the camera at home on purpose. I have even done this for trips to the zoo or museums sometimes. What about you?
Nope. My little p&s is always in my bag. But, I don't always pull it out.

lol! yeah I guess now that you mention it, I never go anywhere without my cell phone, so I always have that camera. but I never use that one
Yes - sometimes I just want to "be in the moment".
Apparently I just did that for 10 days straight! Not on purpose though. I did feel more "in the moment" not having to run and get the camera, but I wish I had SOME pictures of vacation!
I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!

lol! It was your post that made me think of it. But I think it is kind of different if you do it by accident. I get REALLY annoyed if I forget it by accident, even to the point of it ruining whatever Im doing.
never! I'd rather go without panties (lol)
my camera is small and lightweight, has its own little pocket in my purse, there is no reason to leave it behind!

not on purpose......I have accidentally left it home but I usually have one in purse...just in case. The time I do not have one is when I will need and then be upset with myself for not having it.
I try never too. I missed too many pics over the years that I will never be able to get back.
I try not to, but now my cell phone is another story...sometimes I need to get away from phone calls!

I always have mine with me; but there are times that I enjoy myself instead of getting the camera out.

After 2 car accidents in Germany NEVER I have 2 at all times now sometimes I forget to charge the batteries:?
Well, I have a DSLR, so I leave it at home often because it can be a pain. But if I had a point and shoot, I'd always have that thing with me!
But I know what you're talking about. When I go out, I sometimes tell myself that I will limit my picture-taking to a certain time period or subject so that I can enjoy the moment. In other words, I'll tell myself, "You can take a picture of the fireworks, the crowd, and your friends, but no more than 15 pictures."

I always take it with me just in case but sometimes if it is something we do often I will keep it in my purse and just enjoy the moment.
All the time.....or I just don't take it out!
That's just crazy talk.
Can you believe my dad thinks I take too many pictures? I don't even know what that means.
