Re: Tools of the trade (Adhesive)
My main adhesive is the Hermafix Dotto Removeable. I love that it is sticky enough to hold things together but easy to remove for a few days and then it becomes permanent after a month or so.
I also use the Tombo Permanent tape runner, glue dots, Scotch scrapbooker's glue, Xyron and double sided tape.

I keep thinking of getting an ATG but the stickiness of it scares me off - I move stuff around on my page way too much!

I use the Creative Memories tape runner. Have been thinking about switching if I can find something cheaper that works just as good.

Re: Tools of the trade (Adhesive)
I use different adhesives for different things. :bluelol:

- Thermoweb photo squares (they do have the annoying little blue thingys, so I'm going to check out the one you use) for pictures, photo mats, and bigger pieces of paper

- Xyron (I have the X and the 510) for vellum, die cuts, cut outs and alphas. I also have a Xyron tape runner as a spare when I run out of photo squares. It sticks well but it's kind of messy.

- Either Magic Scraps Scrappy glue or KI Memories Gloo for fibers, ribbons, metals, acrylic and any heavy embellies (if it has to be invisible adhesive, I go with KI Memories Gloo as it dries completely clear)

- Spray Adhesive for larger pieces of vellum (anything that won't fit in my Xyron machines)

And I have some misc adhesives like Glue Dots and Tacky Tape that I keep around for emergencies.

me too! When I run out of ATG tape, I'll use Scotch glue sticks to stick my photos down and ANYTHING else I can get my hands on to stick my paper together!

I am sad to say, but I am thrifty on my adhesive. I will buy anything that's on sale. I can't say I love all of it, but it does tend to get the job done.

I use mostly what is handy. My ATG when I have tape for it. Zots, a lot. Right now I am using little square adhesive with the hearts. I really like dot runners of various brands.

I use the Tombow Mono Permanent adhesive tape runner all the time. For little things, I use my Zig 2-Way glue pen, and I use glue dots for ribbon and chipboard and other 3-D items.

Re: Tools of the trade (Adhesive)
I use and love the following adhesives from Creative Memories:

Tape Runners
Precision Point Adhesive
Photo Tape
Frosted Splits (vellum)

I've tried others and always toss them in the trash, I hate they got rid of the mini tape runner. When I run out of refills I'll be very sad!

Re: Tools of the trade (Adhesive)
All things Creative Memories.

Tape Runner - first reach, re-positionable, seems to become permanent after about three or four days, no problems staying put
Photo Tape - permanent, great for ribbon & buttons, use when doing chipboard mini albums, double sided
Frosted Splits - tabs, used for vellum
Precision Point Adhesive - pen, liquid glue, great for really small stuff, permanent after 30 seconds with paper. (shake 30 seconds for first use of day)
3D-Dots

Creative Memories now makes a 3D adhesive that is 1/16th of an inch which I think will go great with the 1/8th inch 3D dots. Definitely in my next cart when I place an order.

I've tried Zots, and I gave them to my daughter....they were a real pain.....or maybe it was the operator ( :-Dme).
