Re: How often do you use your die cutting machine?
OMGosh I am SOoooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOO addicted to my expression. Even created a post about how much I love it. Just finished up my Daddy's Daddy's Day Card (posted in the card gallery). I use my expression with EVERY layout. My dear other half who bought it for me just smiles whenever I use it--he gave it to me--as he knows how happy it makes me.

I must admit that it's stepped up my layouts and cards a bunch of notches! Compared to my older layouts (which I think are still great and wouldn't change them to save my soul--well maybe not THAT drastic) my expression has just really allowed my creativity soar. I also find that I'm scrapping more. Well it helps that I work at a LSS and that I joined this group. But even before I joined this group I realize that I'm creating more and enjoying scrapbooking more.

I'm not really a cartridge-aholic either. I only have 7 cartridges and they suit me just fine. My boss likes my work too since I do a lot of signs for the store using my expression.

So after all that blather...every time I do a layout, card, sign, paper craft...I use my Expression. Which is about 3 times a week? With all of the cards I've made I think I've almost paid for the thing. DANG cards from the store are expensive.

I don't have one. And I have to say that the only time I've ever used one was at a crop when I couldn't find the right alpha stickers and just made some with the perfect paper that I had. Not sure I'd use one if I had one :)

Oh Lord... I have the Sizzix Big Shot, The Cuttlebug and the Cricut Expression. I use all of them ocasionally - but I sure would use them almost every day if I could get to my scrap stuff and it stayed in one place!

I have the original Sizix and I don't get it out too much for two reasons; one, I am too lazy to pull it out, and two, I only have one alpha and it gets boring, don't have many dies either (I don't think they make many originals anymore)

Not as often as I should. I have the Slice & Revolution and I go thru spurts, but I don't have anywhere to set them up permanently....

I have the Quickutz revolution and the Cricut. I hardly ever use my Cricut, I use the revolution every now and then. But like you, hardly ever. it's a shame we spend all that money and hardly use them.

ammielou wrote:I got a Cricut for Mother's Day last year and used it about 6 times. Now it is in the bottom of my closet. One reason, no space. Since I had to turn my scrap room into a bedroom for DSD.

I have this same problem. I love using it but don't have the space.

I use my Cricut a bit (just got it for Mother's Day, so I need cartridges) I see the potential to use it more.

Re: How often do you use your die cutting machine?
I have a quickutz that I hardly use except at crops, because the letters are thin and hard to glue down, but I love my cricut. I would like to get the expression, but I can't justify buying another one at this time. And I would like to get the computer program for it, but I have a mac. Maybe I'll try that 3rd party product for the mac, so i can meld letters, and use computer fonts. That would be soooo useful, because I really like cutting out my own alphas in the size I want them.

Cricut Expressions. I use it a lot more than I thought. The use depends on how often I scrapbook. I use it for other things, too. I have used it on DD's school projects, valentine goody bags, and many more non scrappy stuff. I am really glad I got it.

Re: How often do you use your die cutting machine?
My first was my Sizzix sidekick. I used it a lot and then bought the Cuttlebug because it was capable of taking most any die or embossing plate. Used it a lot too and rarely use the sidekick. Then I bought the Cricut Expression and use it a lot now. I still use my cuttlebug because of the dies and embossing plates. Like someone else said, I have not purchased alpha since except for some Thickers and some rubons.

Re: How often do you use your die cutting machine?
I have a Cricut, a Cricut Expression and a Cuttlebug. I don't use my lil bug at all anymore since I got the Expression. When I am actually scrapping...I would say I use the Expression and Cuttlebug on average every other page. I get in modes where I'll use one or the other on every single page...then I don't use either for several pages.

Re: How often do you use your die cutting machine?
Don't have one anymore - had the old school Sizzix that weighed a ton - used it maybe 4 times. Sold it and haven't bought one since, although the Slice has turned my head a time or two.
