I have some ribbons and ribbons, oh, here's some more ribbon and I lift up some paper and more ribbon. I want to use ribbon on my 12x12 LO, but I don't have any creativity with the boring exception of a border. UGH. Did I mention I have ribbon? Calling ALL RIBBON SCRAPPERS, I need pictures (I am a hands on, picture person - he he) of ribbons. I hope you can show me some ribbon examples, so I can use my small laundry basket of...did I mention....ribbon?
I love ribbon, but I don't know what to do with it.
Hugs all around!

Here is a layout I did last week. I cut the ribbons into short strips and then tucked the ends under the black cardstock so that it looks like the ribbon goes down to the bottom of the picture. I hope that makes sense!

Pretend you don't see this - I took this out of the gallery for a pub, but put it back in just for you. This is one of the techniques CK will be featuring from this layout in October. I'll leave it in the gallery for a bit and then I better pull it. There are two images after the initial - showing a ribbon flower. The last photo shows how i prep the pieces of ribbon before flower assembly. This really looks great with ribbon wider than 3/8". I tried it with the skinnier stuff and it really does not look as good - but that is great because I needed to come up with a use for my wider ribbons that I usually don't use because of their bulk when tied in knots.

You can also check out the gallery and browse by category for ribbon....there are tons of examples there!!! Hope you find something that helps!

I used ribbon in this lo to tie around the tree trunk and next to the journal card. I love ribbon and have tons of it. Can't seem to resist a good buy or just a pretty ribbon that catches my eye.
learned that technique from Leslie.
i just cut up a whole bunch of pieces of ribbon then lined them up with no rhyme or reason.

Wow, you people are just amazing! I never thought you would actually give me all of these wonderful ideas. Some are as easy as pie while others are filled with a lot of thought. I would like to Thank you Cherries for your kindness and help. Trust me, I am trying this as we speak. I'm just so overwhelmed with all the responses, I.. I.. am so proud to be a part of this site. I have a new juice in my blood and I'm headed for the ribbon.
Thank you all and God Bless.
