How old are you?

I turned 54 in April. Next year I will be the same age as the year of birthday - '55 and I will be ever so happy to reach that next birthday!!


A word of advice to those who dread a certain age, decade or whatever. I was a little upset about my 20th birthday, mainly because I wasn't a teenager any more, but not old enough to be "legal" yet either. I was dreading my 30th until a friend told me this.....turning 30 is great when you consider the alternative! After that, age didn't really matter to me any more. Now, I will feel blessed to be allowed to celebrate every new birthday that I can.

OMG!! I'm older than dirt! Only 4% of the people on our board are in my age group. I'm still young at heart though, does that count for something? Please don't banish me from the board for being and old biddie!

Hey, Jules, you and I are the seniors of the group. I am 58, almost 59.

I forgot how old I was and had to figure it up on the calculator. LOL I knew it was either 61 or 62, but couldn't remember which was correct. I'm actually 61.

The only birthday that I dreaded was 60. Now I am 62, who cares. I thank God that I am realtively healthy and able to do the things I like to do.
