I am reading the Chronicles of Narnia. It is one big book with all the books in the series. The catch is that they are in the order that CS Lewis preferred them to be in, not in the order that he wrote them.
i am in the middle of re-reading some of my favorites I have.
Right now I am reading ab older series from Sandra Brown - Texas Lcuky, Texas Chase and Texas Sage.

I am currently reading.. Nothing but BLOGS... no books.. Lets see what else.. Good housekeeping, scrapbooks etc and a couple other mags..
I loved Wicked! Also The Rug Merchant was very good.
I just started Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levine but I'm going to save the rest of it for my trip. I also have Whale Done!: The Power of Positive Relationships that my ds's coach just finished and recommended.

Koi what do you think of Wicked? I enjoyed it, but it sure was strange!!
I'm reading Finders Seekers, a fantasy book with cat-like creatures. Kind-of stalled though, it's interesting but not a page-turner like the Twilight books. Never have finished Cold Mountain which I started a long time ago, either. I just bought Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants & a Frank Peretti book I hadn't seen before so I'll probably start one of those soon.

I am reading a novel called the True Story of Hansel and Gretel and then for professional reading Alternatives to grading student writing. I will begin reading for pleasure in the summer as well as continue AP prep and professional reading.
I am still reading Brisingr! I have been reading it for about 2 months, but I just can't seem to get it finished!

I need to get to the library as all I have here are older books read and reread many times. I am waiting on James Patterson's newest Womens murder club book as I placed a hold on it. Love his books.

I love the Womens Murder Club series too.
I havent read the Sookie Stackhouse ones yet, but they are on my list. I was waiting until the first season of True Blood was over, because I didnt want to mix things up or spoil one or the other, by reading the first book at the same time.
So after the Twilight saga, I moved on to Laurell K Hamilton, and read all of her stuff - loved it! but it is a bit more, um, hard core than Twilight. not for the faint of heart. I just plowed through both of her major series though.
and oh I can't remember the other author but the series started with 'A Girl's Guide to Vampires' I loved that series too.

Hey all you readers! You should be visiting the Book Nook forum and posting your reading faves there! Get on over there...now!
That said, I'm reading
[blockquote]1. At work, during lunch - Home to Harmony, first in the Harmony novel series by Philip Gulley
2. At home - Keeping Faith by David Badalcco
3. In the car (book on tape) - Sweetwater Creek by Anne River Siddons
4. Weekly Bible study book -
Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David by Kay Arthur, Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer
[/blockquote]I haven't heard of Sookie Stackhouse. I'll have to put that on my list.
(That's weird, how did I end up quoting myself?)

I find Wicked strange but enjoyable also. The author fascinates me- not an easy read due to the odd vocabulary but very exciting so far. My daughter lent it to me a long time ago because she enjoyed it. She didn't eat beef for years because of the talking cow scene..... haven't gotten to that part yet. I also "stalled" (liked your description) with Cold Mountain- for me, it got pretty boring in parts. Please let me know about the Sisterhood " " " " . I have picked that up 3 or 4 times and put it back again.
Has anyone read the Friday Night Knitting Club???? Any good? That is another one I have picked up and put back a few times.
Enjoy for we will never have this day again.

Another favorite series is by Debbie Macomber-where all the stories take place in the same town, but just focus on a few families in each book. Not sure if there is a name for the series; but they are all titled with street names preceded by a number.
That's the Cedar Cove series. She also writes a series called Blossom Street about knitters, I think.
Jenna - Mom to Emily (2/02) & Kaitlyn (2/04)
I'm on the 4th Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants book, just picked it up from the library, I love that series. Started and finished Blue Bloods this evening (it's due back tomorrow and there's another request for it so the library won't renew it for me). It was an easy read, and a completely different tale of vampires than any I've ever heard (of course until the Twilight series I'd never really read any vampire novels, lol). There's 2 more in the series and a 4th book coming out later this year, so I went out and requested the next one already.PezKat wrote:Koi what do you think of Wicked?
