Sorry for the delay. Some dumb **** went down our street at atleast 80 and power braked around the corner. Tried to catch up to them to get a plate but they were long gone. Hope nobody gets injured this evening.
Yes, it really is Christmas. It was actually a bummer when I was growing up because it never felt like I had a real birthday. I don't think I ever had any type of party where I could invite friends because of the time of year.
My son's is on July 2nd so I always try to do something prior or after his birthday with friends as well as something with the family on his actual birthday so the same thing does not happen to him.
The older I get though...I don't mind so much my birthday being on Christmas. At least there is always something or other going on and family around.
