 How do you get ACOT Points by hunting for cherries.  One day, I hunted and got 50 points and the next I didn't get any points.  Is there a magic number of cherries that you need to find to get points???  I hope I posted this in the right place!

 hello! (and welcome to ACOT!). As far as I am aware, you don't get any points for finding cherries, but you do get 50 points if you come across coins. So my guess is you found one of the coins in the shop as they are worth 50 points, which is very rare to find, so good stuff!

You get 1 point for each cherry you click on and 50 points for each pile of coins. But you have to be in the top 5 at Midnight Eastern time to get the $5 coupon. The points you get from cherries are just towards the $5 coupon but the coin points go into your total at the top of the page and those add up for coupons too. HTH a little bit.

 Still cannot figure out how people get so many cherries!  Guess I just don't devote the amount of time it takes to win the game!

 The one time I played and won I spent a good 3-4 hours (maybe more) hunting... and I found two gold coins!!  Would be easier if I had faster internet... or made my kiddo's do it lol.

You only get points for coins (50)- which are very hard to find.    You also get a point if you leave a comment in the general forum.

 I am constantly searching ACOT to see what new products they have and what will go with photos I have so I find several coins a week but I also spend all day on the computer here at work and inbetween working is when I search. once Im home I hardly ever search.

I have only found 1 pile of coins after hunting for hours-cherries are easy to come by but those coins definitely take some time.

I was bad one day last week and spent an entire day shopping for cherries and I mean from 8 am-12 midnight! I found 4 gold coins and was 1st place in the cherry hunt-so it was profitable. Well, perhaps not because as I was hunting for cherries I found tons of cool products and they immediately went in my shopping cart.
