 I got lots of good idea on how to SORT paper from someone else's post, now I have a question.  I keep my 12x12 paper in the plastic bags that ACOT sends them in, however, if I sort them all out the way I want too, I need more bags.  Ziploc gallon size bags do not work, I put 8 1/2 x 11 in them and I can't zip them.  Someone mentioned a 2 gallon bag on the forum yesterday- does anyone use plastic bags to store 12x12 in, and if so, where do you get a bag big enough?  Thanks!

Ziplock makes a 2 gallon bag.  I have a cropper hopper paper storage so I can't help you on the bags of paper question.

 I have lots of paper in the acot bags too, and I hate it.  I can never find anything and is it too hard to pull paper out to look at if you put more than a little in.  I need to find a better way.  I don't have a good spot to do the cropper hopper.

 i use the free boxes from usps very easy just cut in half and fill with paper i mean to cover them with fabric so they will be pretty but i still haven't done it

 I believe she is talking about the boxes our orders are delivered in. You can cut them so they look some like cropper hoppers.   I use my chopper hoppers. I love them.

 I think Jeanne uses the Flat Rate boxes.  Not the short stubby ones...the tall skinny ones.  Cut the top off and they make "holders"  Pretty sure she posted a picture on the sorting paper thread.

I got the wire cubes at Target and then some plastic ties and created a Paper storing tower -

 Sorry I use the cropper hopper too.  I don't mess with the bags.

 I use page kits to store my papers in and then put them in the plastic bags- so there are only 3-6 pps in each one.  then I use the cropper hoppers.

 I bought these 12x12 plastic envelopes from Michaels made by Craft Keepers.  They come in a pack of 10 and I think they are around $10, but I used my coupons.  They have a snap on the top.  I will try to take a photo and post it soon.  Other than that, I have cropper hoppers also.

 I only use the large ones for crop page kits.  I have only seen them come with my scrappy orders.  Sorry I can't help.

 I have those white cubes that micheals sells and that is where i keep my paper.. but my scraps i keep in Bags (i have ordered sooo much that i have just enough of the bags from ACOT ) thanks acot for the great bags!!!


Maybe ACOT should consider selling those bags in maybe packs of 10 or 12

These are available at JoAnn's and Michael's.  They are poly and expland to 1-1/2" so 12x12 paper fits in them easily.  They retail for about $2 but are often on sale or you can use a coupon, making them very affordable.  I have also found similar items at both stores that came in like 10 packs.  Again very affordable. 

I keep most of my paper in an IRIS scrapbook cart that is often on sale at JoAnn's for about $40.  Again, you could use a coupon.  This keeps the paper dust free and flat and it can be stacked with dividers in whatever method you prefer.  The drawers are self-contained containers with lids,  I use the Craft Keepers for specific projects or themes and include paper, stickers, embellishments, etc, all the things I know I plan to use on the project.  They fit in the drawers, too.

     Yea! That's what I'm thinking about getting----the white cubes. I've never paid much attention to how much they cost, though. Thankfully I have a 50% off coupon!
