If you are interested in altering a vase similar to mine here's what I did:
If you want to do a bit more to make your vase pretty you can cut thin strips of your patterned papers and adhere them to you glass vase. Depending on the shape of your vase this may be easier for some of you than others. Keeping the paper strips thin may help if your vase is more tapered.
Once your vase has been decorated you can then have fun arranging your flowers to your liking. As you may notice I also made some curly-cue pieces by wrapping the wire around a pencil and then stretching it out a bit. For the arranging part you are on your own. I recommend bringing all the stems together and wrapping a small piece of wire around them about 3 inches or so from the bottom. Then play around with the height of each flower. Feel free to twist and bend the stems or flowers. Just play around with them until they look good to you!

These are adorable-thanks so much for the tutorial. I will make these later and post them.
Lovely!
I can't wait to do these with my oldest GDs. They'll love it.

When putting them in your vase . . . did you cut the wires or just bend them so they laid like your picture?
I love those colors EM

I was going to cut them, but then realized bending would be easier to "un-do" if I didn't like the way they looked!ctaylor0312 wrote: When putting them in your vase . . . did you cut the wires or just bend them so they laid like your picture?
