Re: Basic Grey Layout Class here !
After I finished that I reached for my 2nd patterend paper.... mine is called Mousse.  I cut a piece 8 x8 inches. I then tore the right hand side and inked it.  I then placed it almost 2 inched in from the left edge and almost 2 inches up from the bottom.

My next step was to make a place for the title...

I grabbed the left over Mousse paper .. cut a piece 5 inches wide by 2 inches high.
I again used my edge punch on it-- then I again flipped it over to have the white side up. I inked it and placed it about a half inch in from the MOusse paper square and tucked it under alittle so it looks like this.

Re: Basic Grey Layout Class here !
You can leave it without the punched edge-- use deco scissors or just hand cut a wavy line.... mine is just a guide, and I am showing you the steps I use to complete a layout.

I can't wait till she shows us how she's gonna use the glimmer mist.  I didn't have good luck with that the first time I used it , last year and I haven't bought any since.

Re: Basic Grey Layout Class here !
My next step was to work on the hearts I was going to put in the upper right hand corner. I knew I was going to ink and glimmer mist them and I wanted tehm to dry...so I di them early.

I chose 2 different size hearts form Bazzill Chips.
Image

I then inked the smaller one in a light pink and the larger one in red.

Image
Note they do not have to have solid coverage as we are going to spray them with Glimmer mist...which is what I did next... using Red Velevet Glimmer mist.

Image the reason for 2 different inks is so that you get 2 different colors when you spray them with the glimmer mist.
