The first thing I did was chose a background for my layout-- I chose to use a pink color.
I then chose to alyer a brown on top of it --
I cut one inch off the brown each vertically and horizontally
like so...
but I wanted it to have a little more uuuummmpphhh so I sued my edge punch and punched both sides.
Like so...then adhered in the middle of my background paper.
