 If so, we need to have more participation!!!!! ACOT is so incredibly generous with their prizes and we would love to keep doing them. BUT, participation has gone down each month.  

The contests were put on a six month hiatus from lack of participation before, but when I got on the CT, I BEGGED to have them back. But now the powers that be are thinking of placing them on hiatus again. So it is up to you guys to keep them around!!

Right now I run polls to see what the message board would like to see for the contests and while I have a ton of people vote, each month the participation is going down. Is there something else you would to see us do?

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know and hopefully get some of you motivated to enter this months contest, so we can continue.

 Contests, I'm guesssing those are differnt from the CT Challenges?  Guess I have to go to the Contest forum.  But I did do you Rebus puzzles. Those are so great, getss your mind thinking.  I did do that one.  Let me check the other ones out!

 Yeppers the contests are different from the CT challenges and games that I play. Those are both going strong! No need to worry there!!

 I love the contests and participate as often as I can.  I don't do any challenges because I just haven't worked up the nerve to post any of my layouts.

 I participate every month, I didn't participate last month because I was the Guest Digi CT, I will pick back up this month.

  I love them and join in pretty much every month! Weird that people vote to have a certain contest but than don't join in. Who could not lov ethe chance to win a $25 gift certficate??!! You could always just hand them over to me every month.  hehe!

 I love the contests and was doing really well entering them for awhile. But I haven't done much scrapping lately  I AM going to enter the current one though, even got an idea for a cute LO!

 I haven't entered a contest in a long time.  Mostly because my time is really limited and when I entered the contests I would obsess and spend far too much time on one layout.  I am thinking about the pet contest though.  We'll see....

There is soooo much fabulous talent here as of late, though, that maybe some people may feel intimidated about entering?  Just thinking....

I know that for awhile I felt like that (sometimes still do...), but decided that maybe, some month, I just might have a chance.

 Ok...I am just gonna be honest.  There are SO many talented people around here who know how to take their layouts to the "next level" and I know I can't measure up.  So if I know it is a voted on contest, I pass...sorry...just being honest.

And on a side note....I did look at this months but I don't have any pets and the reason I don't is because I live in an apartment.....couldn't figure out any way to scrap that.  

But thank you for all your hard work.  I don't know how you keep up on all of it...but I love seeing all your posts

 I honestly appreciate all that you do personally to motivate the members here at ACOT and I MORE than appreciate all that is provided for us as members from the ACOT owners and staff.

There are so many talented members here who do enter as well as those who are not necessarily members who simply pop in to enter the contest, something I've never thought was quite fair.

I also tend to look at scrapping contests sometimes more as popularity contests. I'm not saying that those who have won in the past do not deserve to win because their work is fabulous!! However, whenever there is non-blind judging involved in a community full of people who know each other as we do there is going to be biases.

I do adore you for always thinking of the community though Sus!!

 I do my best. I work full time, my job is physical. So, I am tired. My scrap time is the weekends and sometimes that doesn't even work.
I used to worry what others would think about my LO's, but there came a time when I finally said..."don't care"! Everyone's style is different.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it! (my family needs to go away for a few days and leave me alone).

Since becoming a "regular" here, I have played along as much as possible!  I would hate for these to "go away"!

 I like the contests--but my work doesn't seem to be what people are looking for...so I hesitate to enter the contests where they are judged. I always think my work is at least good. but then when there aren't any comments, or no votes..it gets disheartening..so I tend to stay away from the judged contests.

Though I am considering this one..

 Personally, I'm not any more likely to enter a contest than to complete a challenge.  I like contests/challenges because they inspire me to get work done, but I know the likelihood that I will actually win a contest is so small that it doesn't motivate me anymore than a challenge.  Make sense? 

Honestly, I think it would be cooler to offer a GC to a random challenge completer than a contest winner, but that's just because I know I'm not going to ever win!

 I wish I could say that I would participate but I know that I just don't have the time right now. In fact, I barely even scrapbook these days because of other things I've been focusing on. 

I'm sorry that there aren't many participants but I think with so many things going on (challenges, games, etc) it's hard to participate in everything for most of us.

 The DT is excluded from the contests and I feel like the votes are extremely fair. It's done anonymously so it's not like we see everyone voting for a page so then we jump on the bandwagon.
