The farm life sounds so peaceful.  Do you miss your hometown at all?

 Joining the party a little late!  How did the appointment go?  Did you take pictures?

How many people have you brought to ACOT?

 When is the last time you got your hair cut?  Where do you get it cut?  How much does it cost?

It was about 2 weeks ago.  I go about every 4-5 weeks.  I get it cut at DJ's in Wahoo = our closet 'big' town by Jenn, who has cut my hair for almost 10 years!  It's $15 for wash, cut and style.

 Tell me about your real farm..

how many acres?  We farm about 3000 acres - we rent about half that amount. It's not all together either - but all within about 10 miles of our house.  DH farms with his dad and older brother.

what do you plant?  We plant corn and soybeans and some hay

Any animals? Nope, just a dog and a few 'shed' cats

Do you have help with the farming?  I cook the noon meal most days and am getting ready to take over the bookcooking from dh's mom.  I am also chief ride giver when they are moving from field to field.  I've driven a tractor twice and the last time didn't go well at all!  That was 10 years ago!!

Wheree in Michigan are you visiting? My dad and stepmother live just south of Cheboygan - right on the lake.

Let's see.  I love most doodlebug lines.  But my favorite right now is the Mellow line from Basic Grey...I'm out of date!

Tracy - you ask such funny questions!   Nope, I ran out of room last year when I actually started putting pages in books from the bags they were in.  However, every album I own is full - does that count??

Probably - but I refuse to consider it until I'm closer to being caught up!

hmmm.. That's a great question!  when I first read the question - Angel popped into my head along with Pour Some Sugar On Me!  I was a big fan of DefLeppard, Poison,  Aerosmith, Great White - all those!
DH gets irritated with me when I make him listen to 80s stations on car trips!

 Since you are a "deerewife", have you scrapped your husbands tractors?  Only if the kids happen to be in them!  I have many pictures of his tractors - that would be a great idea for a small book for him!

We moved around lots as a kid so I don't really miss my 'hometown'.  I miss being close to my family especially my two sisters.  Thank goodness for the internet and cell phones!
I miss the trees and hills in eastern Ohio - nothing compares to that out here.  My dad actually moved after I graduated college...so when I go back to Ohio I'm not in the town that I grew up, but am in the town that I spent my senior year of highschool.  My younger sister still lives there and my older sister lives near where I went to college.

The appointment went well - no cavities and she has two loose teeth!   Emily's not too happy since she's 2 years older and has only lost 4 teeth!  No pictures....I took of her first visit - after that it's kind of the same thing...

I have no idea how many people I've brought here.  I've talked this place up to everyone I meet in real life or on a board!  Everyone should be here!!
