Mine is set to auto-check every 10 minutes whenever the computer is on (which is ALWAYS).  So as long as I'm sitting here working, my email is being checked.

 AOL updates instantly when you get new mail and I am pretty much always signed on (even if I am not really at the computer it is up... the beauty of wireless)

 I check my personal email several times a day. At work I'm constantly in my email; a window pops up in the corner of my sceen when a new message arrives.

 Constantly when I'm online. On weekends at home, I only check once or twice a day unless I'm expecting something. I avoid the computer at home since I'm on it so much at work.

 The computer is on all day and a little icon pops up when I have a new email...so, if I'm walking by and see it I stop to check.

 Mine is set up with an alert that tells me when a new one comes in and shows who from and the subject so if it is one I wanna see at that moment I will go look.

Now my yahoo account that is another story - not good about checking it as it is my jumk mail account. lol

At work we're required to stay in email all day and check and answer as quickly as possible.  My home email I try to check every night but sometimes it goes a few days.

I check first thing in the morning and then several times throughout the day when I'm not working. If working, then I check when I get home plus several times before bedtime.

 If I'm online, which is a lot of the time, I can see whether I have new email all the time - I think it checks every 10 minutes.

 Mine auto-checks every 5 mins or so. I'm at my computer a lot and my doc shows me if mail has come in even when I am working in other programs.

 3-4  or more times a day! Depending on whether I am close to a computer. But Atleast 1-2 times a day as a general.
