love my ATG glue gun.. can't leave home without it..
Also, love most any of the Tombow adhesives as well. definitely love me some ZOTs glue does too. gotta have them in all shapes and sizes.
i use so many diffrerent adhesives. it depends on what i'm adhering. for most of my work (photos, papers) i use hermie tabs still. for odd shaped or torn edges i go with a permanent glue stick. chipboard or lumpy embellies i use diamond glaze (love this). for ribbons or super tough adhesive (like making a pocket) i use that super sticky red tape. then there's pop dots for dimension.

Use my Memory Tape Runner XL all the time. Also use Glue Dots and Zots, and my Sakura Quickie glue pen for those really thin areas.
I'm a HUGE fan of Scrapbook Adhesives' EZ Runner. They donate a portion of their proceeds to breast cancer awareness/research, so I like that they're showing corporate social responsibility too!

I'm all about glue dots...those adhesive tape runner thingys...foam dots, and zig pens. I'm going to be hunting for an ATG gun...anyplace have them cheap???!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the word "CLEARANCE"
Everyone seems to be sold on the ATG gun, so I would appreciate some information about it.
What is it?
How does it work?
Where do you find it and is it expensive?
Do you plug it in?
I'm assuming you have to refill it, so is it hard to refill?
About how much do the refills run cost wise?
I may have to get one if you ladies can convince me that I need it. LOL I'm looking for an excuse to buy some more scrappy supplies without feeling guilty.

Hit the "shopping" and go under adhesives and look for the "glue glider max" that's pretty much an ATG...it's an unlimited supply of tape..lol. And I heard they're easy to refill, and you get more bang for your buck...AlwaysHappy wrote:Everyone seems to be sold on the ATG gun, so I would appreciate some information about it.

Here's the LINK for the ATG.
It's around $40, but refills last a long time & are cheap. They're cheaper the more you buy, too. I worked at a grocery store in high school, so I found refilling it was just like refilling a pricing gun!

Good question since i ran out of adhesive last week and my Local Scrap Store was out of my brand. I tried two that were horrible one I forgot it was a $2.00 bargain that fell apart as I was trying to use it and then I tried the Scotch permanent tape runner. Horrible stuff. Had to keep rewinding it. My Shop finally got my brand in and I bought three refills. The brand I use is Kokuyo Dot n Roller. I love love it. For Ribbon I use that red real sticky stuff that comes in a large roll. I tried after so many people insisted the Scotch Purple Glue Stick and don't really like that. They all raved about it, maybe I was using it on wrong papers or something. They did say that it was good for paper to chipboard though. Haven't tried that yet. I know I'm not going to run out again of the Kokuyo.. Had a hell of a time with the others I bought..

Dry: Tombow runners hands down. I've tried them ALL.

I love the 3m and tombo.
My favorite adhesive is the Duck - easy stick. Works for me! !
I use pretty much all helmar products at this point, but even more iteresting is using luiquid adhesives on embellisments. It takes half the time of glue dots and adheres so much better. Wet adhesive works wonderful!
