Yet....another question
Do you like to use a lot of embellishments on your pages, or do you like it simple?

I really like to make sure that every space has something on it, I can't handle leaving a "blank" space.
I think the layouts in the gallery, that have one picture and embellishments around it, are totally beautiful...but, for some reason, I can't bring myself to do it.  I get the picture on the paper, embellishments out...and I just can't leave all of that blank space....

Anyone else?  Or is it just me?? Help! lol
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the word "CLEARANCE"

I vary. Sometimes I like to fill it up and others I like to let the picture do it all.

Re: Yet....another question
I do both. If you want to try it, maybe use a large picture like a 5x7 and a bunch of small embellies around it like buttons or brads or little die-cuts. Then you will fill up a large part of the page, get to use the embellies you love and still leave some empty space.

i love lots of eye candy on a page.  but i like it when they are anchored together or overlapping another element instead of "floating".  just my take on it.  it's fun that we are all different tho.  how boring if we all scrapped alike.  i think i learn from everyone's layouts in the gallery all the time!

I never know when to quit --- with the embellishments!    But, I think my pages usually lean towards the cleaner, simpler lines.    Guess that's just my style!

I have done LOs using white space after getting inspiration from the gallery and they cam out beautiful. But I have soooo many embellies that I hate to see so much white space go to waste!!

Re: Yet....another question
Depends on the layout - I love to use embellishments but sometimes use white space to draw the eye in.  Pretty much, anything goes for me :)

I'm a fairly simple scrapper.....a few papers and a couple of elements, and that's it for me.

Re: Yet....another question
I don't have a set style.  I switch back and forth just depending on what kind of mood I'm in that day I guess.  I don't think either way is right or wrong, just what appeals to you and makes you happy.  As far as I'm concerned, there is no wrong way to scrapbook.  That's why I like this hobby, there are no rules.  At least not for me.  LOL  I just go with my gut feeling when doing a layout.  So, if you want to fill every inch of the page, then go for it.  It's your scrapbook and your hobby.

Re: Yet....another question
I go back and forth - I'll do pages with lots of white space and then I'll do pages with lots of stuff.  But I can say for sure that I stink when it comes to clustering!
