What are you making or buying for your S.O. for Valentine's Day?
I just made a mini book ( 2 inches by 3 inches) on the Walgreen's website for only $6! It has 24 pages of pictures of JUST my husband and I. It's something small he can stash away in his bag on deployments. I know it's nothing grand, but he considers V day a "chick" holiday anyway.
V-Day sucks this year!!!! That's all I got to say about that.
Oh, we're real romantics - we decided to get each other Guitar Hero World Tour for v-day. I guess it's kinda romantic. It is something we'll do together!
What a great idea. I'm gonna wait till the kids are sleeping. Fill the tub with bubbles tell him to get in and I'm going to have candles around the tub and give him a massege while in a nigthy. I think . . . LOL
The SO is gonna get a whole pile of nothing. That's the weekend he goes to Vegas for his friends bachelor party so he doesn't deserve anything in my eyes!
Oh I remember you telling us about that now!! Still not cool at all!!The SO is gonna get a whole pile of nothing. That's the weekend he goes

I'm making mine a decorated 6 pack thingy. The stomach is the still the way to his heart after 21 years of marriage!
I'll probably make him a homemade pizza.
Saturday nights with the woodstove opened like a fire place, homemade pizza are a treat.

I made reservations at the restaurant where we ate on our first date - I even made reservations for the same table. I'm also making him one of those decorated mugs - the kind that you insert a mini-layout into. When we get home, we'll go at it like spider monkeys.

A new MP3 Player. His just died and he's going through withdrawls LOL! We have Munchkin that weekend so nothing romantic for us. Going to the Mammoth game (lacrosse) instead!

Valentines has turned into a family event at our house with 3 kids. Every year we do a heart themed dinner with heart shaped jello-jigglers, heart shaped pizza or meat loaf, heart shaped rolls, red punch... heart shaped brownies or cheesecake for dessert...you get the picture. Then we get small (INEXPENSIVE) gifts for each child and we take turns telling them why we love them so much at dinner.
As far as a gift for dh goes. I found a shirt at Old Navy for $5.00. We always watch a movie after the kids are in bed and then let our imaginations run wild after that!

-If it's scrappy it makes me happy!
I'm leaving my SO!
...for the weekend and going to a scrapbook retreat. He paid for the retreat as his gift to me and me going is my gift to him! He may drive to the town the retreat is being held and if he does, we're going to sneak off for lunch together -- my treat!

HAHA! I love cheap Old Navy junk! I have about 50 shirts that I've bought there over the years for less than 3 bucks each!janello wrote: As far as a gift for dh goes. Nothing. He just spent a few thousand dollars at the dentist. I told him I was not going to buy him any candy that would rot his new teeth.
