I use one on some layouts and more on others.

I usually do about 3 on my layout but since I've been on the board, I do have alot of just one on a layout.

I take a ton of pictures so I put a lot of pics one page. For me, a 12x12 page can be anywhere from 3 to 7 pics (depending on the pics and how I crop them). On average though, I would say I do 4 pics a page. Have very few pages with less than that... and those are usually from doing the challenages and contests on ACOT!

Well... I have some layouts that I have used just one picture on. If I have a special picture that I want to do a special layout of.. but I also have been know to do a 14 page layout with LOTS of pictures on them.
I don't see the since in taking a bunch of pictures and then only scrapping one or two to tell the story of that day or trip. I still cut down on how many pictures I scrap but I don't cut down on how many pages it takes to tell that adventure.

I try to mix it up--- I find that I go in stages--- I will have alot with only one and then you look at my next group of layouts and they have tons. If I print my pics 4x6-- i don't usually use more than 3 on a layout because I feel it get crowded--but I love to print them in smaller sizes and use lots.
I generally do multi-photo layouts when I do paper. The photos are already printed and I want to show them. When I do digi, I often use just one photo, because I don't feel I am wasting supplies/photos, etc. That is not to say that a 1-photo paper layout is a waste...just that I have so many photos to scrap, my hoarding nature won't let me do pages with one photo, usually. Unless it is a 5x7 or larger.

I tend to go back and forth. If I have a fantastic random photo, I will just do one or two. but if it is from an event, then I tend to use more on a page.

My thoughts too!Northern Brat wrote: Whatever you like! Try doing a double layout and one page one pic and the other multiples! It depends on the pics, the event, etc. I love both!

It depends on the subject. Vacations, holidays, etc are always multiphoto. But I do love the good random shot being solo.
Usually more than one. I only use one if it is a really special pic.
I tend to do multiple pictures. But I'm behind too....and want to get some of these memories scrapped before I forget them.

I usually do one or two pictures, but I would love to do more if I could get it to look good!
I have so many pictures that I try to do some of both types.

I usually like to do 2 page layouts 12 x 12 and I try to keep it to 4-5 pictures. I also am the paparazzi around here but thank goodness I am documenting my sons' childhood. When I asked my 7 year old about a trip we took to a local theme park 2 years ago he didn't remember. I have proof when they get older and say "you never take us anywhere.."
Oh yeah! I've got scrapbooks to prove it.

This is alot the way I scrap too! I used to do mostly one photo layouts, but I've gotten back in the habit of using more now.JulesinParadise wrote: When I scrap a "moment", I generally do one pic on 12x12. When I am scrapping an "event", I use anywhere from 1-5 on a page.
Always more than one. I take too many and can never decide which ones to use, LOL!!
It depends on how powerful the pic is. Some pics dont need to be Upstaged. I like to use one powerful pic.... and then maybe if I need to use the others put them on a second page that coordinates with the first. similar to a double layout. If I use the focal pic then I highlight it either by making it a bit bigger, matting it with embellishments and highlight matting. Sometimes I even do the focal pic in color and the rest in b/w. I let the pics tell me what they need.
I usually do one , two the most. I love to do embellishments and all different bling and stuff thats the fun of it for me. I have no children so its more in the creating the whole layout then showing off pictures for me. Though I do show off my St. Bernard ` Hannah alot. she is my love. lol
