Re: New Years Scrappy resolutions- what are yours?
Let's see ...

1)  Create a scrapbooking room in one of the two spare bedrooms I have.

2)  Finish up several lo's that have been started and not completed.

3)  NOT start a lo that I don't complete, all the way to the pictures put in it and in the album.

4)  Complete at least 5 competitions at ACOT.

5)  Take a photography class.

Debby (VikingMom) and I challenged each other to complete 100 layouts for the year...I'm thinking I might up the challenge and try to do 200!

What do you think Debby? :winkb:

Re: New Years Scrappy resolutions- what are yours?
I finally cleared off my scrap table so now my #1 goal will be to start scrapping again.

Finish my Disney album.
Work on other albums.
Enjoy scrapping again! (It has been so long, can't wait to get back into it!).

Other goals are:

Lose weight and eat better. I have been eating so much junk food lately and the heartburn is really getting to me.

Work on paying off debt.

Ride my horse (I haven't rode her since August, one or the other of us has been injured and hopefully we'll both be healthy next year).

That oughta be enough to keep me busy for the year!

Re: New Years Scrappy resolutions- what are yours?
I just want to find time to scrap and to use up all my old stuff before buying anything.  I'm trying really hard not to buy anything, but I think I've just become addicted to stamps. I finally made my own Christmas cards this year with Mom's Cuttlebug and stamps..and NO...I'm not gettting one.  "It's nice to have..but I don't need to have it"

I also need to become more organized so I can find things.  I don't have a scraproom so its gets a little messy (okay alot messy) when I scrap.

Re: New Years Scrappy resolutions- what are yours?
I don't want to give myself a yearly number of pages, because I know that if I complete the challenges given every month here at ACOT then I will accomplish my goals.  So...I want to:
1) Do all the challenges here at ACOT at least 6 out of the 12 months.
2) Finish 2006 and Finish 2007 pics.

Those are my scrappy goals.
For my ME goals, I want to excercise at least 4 times a week (starting to get a little saggy), think more about how to be a good mom, and then approach situations from that angle.  (teenagers are soooo difficult!)  I want to get another job that pays well, and still lets me be at home with my kids in the afternoons. (right now I substitute teach, but it doesnt pay much and I can't count on the hours).  And I want to save money for our trip to Yellowstone this summer.

Not bad.  I think they are all do-able!  (Will power!  That's all I need!)

Re: New Years Scrappy resolutions- what are yours?
Hello Firemanswife.  I'm married to a retired fireman.  He was with the department for 32 years.  I have a tiny office in the back of my house that has my desk and computer in it, along with a couple of small bookcases and a 6 foot table.  Room is very limited, so I've had to get creative when it comes to organization.  My goal this year is to find space saving ideas without breaking the bank with costly storage solutions.  I found two inexpensive CD towers (the kind you use for DVD's and CD's).  They are tall, but not wide and set perfectly on top of my bookcases.  They work great for holding small items like 6 X 6 cardstock and make great cubbies for my flowers, buttons, etc.  You would be surprised how much you can cram into one of those things. I'm going to buy a piece of corkboard to hang on the wall and put my embelishments in little baggies and tack them to the cork.  I will write on each bag the nature of the contents, like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Etc.  That way I will be able to find what I need at a glance instead of digging through boxes or going out and buying more because I can't find what I'm looking for.  I find I work better if I have a clean and organized work area.  Hum.... wonder how long that will last :)

I need to just scrap and use the supplies I have.  I just keep buying more and don't get much scrapping done.
