 Do you all want a contest next month? If so why don't you give us some ideas of what you would like to see!!

maybe something like using a technique? Like torn paper or ink. or maybe a book of me type page? I know a lot of people don't get pages done about themselves, so could be an idea.

 If you want to make it a real challenge, a  chipboard book or acrylic album. 
If you want to make it easy for everyone a Love/Passion theme encompasses everything from spouses to a love of chocolate.
Use of a new trendy product or bring brack an old standard.
Ooooooo, what about pet pages?  I love to see los of everyones fur babies. 
Is that enough or do you want me to go on?

Maybe some pages to reflect on what has happened in the year.. since it is the first two months of a new year.

 Yes, please keep it simple!  Techniques are great as long as it isn't something most of us would have on hand already.  I also think that you will have more participation if it is something that everyone feels like they can do (not too much difficulty). JMO.

 Since it is the new year - how about an AAM theme contest that focuses on journaling - hopes, thoughts, apsirations for the year. Or a "where I have been and where I am going" theme.

I do like the "loved ones" idea - which could be a multi photo page, a mini album - or if going with the altered idea a gift for a loved one.

I admit I am not a sketch fan for a contest - often they are restricting, and I use so little of the sketch it may be questionable if I even used it. I prefer sketches as a challenge. JMO 

I kind of like the snow idea - BUT is there snow in the far south? We cannot leave out our warm climate cherries. It could be winter themed - it would be fun to see what winter looks like in different parts of the country.

 Yeah the only snow we get here in Florida is the fake kind at the parks made out of soap! Best kind of snow.. fun to watch falling, but melts immediately!!! And would definitely be hard for others in the other parts of the world to do a snow and winter theme, b/c I know Bernadette in South Africa is now going through Summer. Complete opposite of us.

Another idea I had was a contest that required you to use at least 10 different things on a lo.  Just think of all the room we could make for new stuff during the process.

 I like the idea about a love theme since February has Valentine's Day in it (right before the end of the contest deadline)
or maybe a CHANGE theme since it's a new year and we are getting a new president!
