I have an OLDERMOMS community on LJ that's specifically for mothers giving birth after 35 but a majority are actually over 40... even then, that's nowhere near this woman's age!! Whatever was she thinking? Oh wait... she wasn't! :?

In my opinion afe is a "social" issue or a maturaty issue. In this case I would say its definately not maturity. This lady may still have 30 years of life left. By the time her kid is 30 she will definitely know she is loved and was most certainly wanted. Thats a lot more than a lot of children born to "normal age" mothers will ever feel! I cay congrats and more power to her! I hope she and her child live a long prosperous life.
