Have plenty of adhesive and photos on hand.
If you are new to the site, figure out how to upload to the gallery and post photos to threads before the crop. There are lots of challenges, fast scraps and games you will need to know this for.

I will inevitably run out of adhesive, photos, sanity, caffinated beverages and time. Thankfully, I have a Wal-Mart with a 1 hour photo center less than five minutes away. This takes care of items one, two and mostly four. The rest are debatable at the best of times, so I'm not terribly concerned. Fast scraps and time limited challenges are not manageable so I won't even attempt to stress myself with them. If I can get my typical 2-3 layouts plus a project knocked out in the weekend, I'll be happy. An added bonus will be shrinking my stash.
I tend to have low crop expectations for myself.

Clean up your scrap room and set organzie your projects into kits that you would likemto complete. If you set goals, you will get lots done and be able to share them immediately...oh, charge the camera!

get your photos printed! You'll want to plan on having a variety, you never know when you'll be challenged to scrap an All About Me page, a favorite holiday, or a seasonal theme.
clear a path to the bathroom and start your pre-crop training. LOL You don't wanna miss out on winning bingo or a fast scrap because you took too long in the loo.

Lots of snacks! And have your digi camera on stand-by, you never know when someone will ask you to take a pic of something!

Ooo, you know all those old supplies you never touch or look at anymore? like deco scissors, buttons, fibers, punches, etc. You may want to note where they are hiding Just In Case someone challenges you to use a funky old supply.
have some sort of alterable item ready, we almost always have some sort of altering challenge! It doesn't need to be something elaborate, a tissue box, empty canister, frame, block of wood, spatula, whatever you've got on hand will work.
and did we mention stocking up on adhesive??

I haven't ever completed any of the challenges, fast scraps, etc while at a crop because I get so involved in the games, bingo, etc. and they are really fast paced. This crop I am going to make time for bingo but may need to ration my time on the computer so I can get some other stuff done.
One tip: Watch for bingo games and if you want to play, watch for deadlines when your card is due.
