I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy about this Sus. I always wanted to visit DC though.

So sorry Sus!!! ((((HUGS)))) And just when you moved closer to me. I guess we will have to meet up before you have to move again.
On the bright side, there are some fantastic schools down there and some phenomenal museums! Sorry to hear your news though!

....maybe you can look at it as an adventure!!!! Just imagine all the neat places you get to visit. And, remember, you might not have to live in D.C. itself, unless that's what you want. My family lives in a city in MD....and they used to travel to VA and DC for their jobs! (I hope I rememered that correctly.)

((HUGS)) Don't worry, Sus, we'll find lots of brght sides for you. I have lots of suggestions on places to visit in the DC area, it's gorgeous and so interesting over there. God doesn't give us more than we can bear, I have faith that you'll bounce back on this move the way you did in Colorado. I'll pile all the FL girls in a minivan and we'll head up to help you out. DC is completely drive-able from here.
You poor thing....just as you're finally unpacked and settled. The upshot is that you're learning to be really flexible, adaptable, and adventurous (that's what I told myself when we moved a lot!) Those are great skills! Many people spend their entire lives in the same area and don't get the experience of living somewhere else.
Hang in there!
Hang in there!

I'm sorry, I know moving isn't fun. It's nice to have a settled feeling especially for the kids, they need that. We travelled alot when I was a kid, moving every 2-3 years and ended up just outside of DC. It's a busy place, be prepared for alot of traffic. I do hope your move goes smoothly and you find you like it there. ((Hugs))
Ronny
I know how it is to get settled only to be told you're moving. DC is a great place though. I really miss living near there. So many neat free things to do. How old is your son?

SUS
Moving is definitely disruptive but it's also exciting - making new friends, seeing different places. Hope it all works out for you Sus
I wouldn't be excited about that move either. But I know you will find incredible thing to go see and do and meet awesome new people! I wish you lots of luck and patience!
I am still pissed Geo didn't want to come to Wisconsin

SUS-- I am sooo sorry to hear this. Being a Floridian and Colorado being my fave state I would be devestated. Hopefully things will work out for the better and this will be a great experience for him. D.C. is beatiful.
