 Cindy, I am exactly the same!!   growing up, my dad preferred the whip and mom was the only one who had mayo. Of course us kids liked the whip best, it's sweeter.  But now I'm all about the regular mayo.

 I'm Hellmans/Best Foods all the way.  Of course I'm mostly an east coast gal, so the title Best Foods just seems wrong!  Just like Dreyers...it's Edy's!

The other types of 'mayo' give me indigestion, though on occasion it's a nice change...

I was raised on MIracle Whip--thought that was real mayo until I was in my late teens( seriously maybe 19) then my dh introduced me to real MAYO-- I do the lite stuff as I think it tastes better and now Miracle whip is just gross to me....

As Kim, I was raised on MW.  Was married before I knew the difference.  Coming from a family with 8 kids, my parents couldn't afford mayo.  My dh refused to eat MW so I had to switch.  Now days, I do the fat free ... I can tell the difference but I don't need the extra cals.  Oh, and Kraft only!!

 Mayo here. I HATE Miracle-whip. The light mayo is ok, but not fat-free cuz it tastes too much like MW.
Growing up, my mom was awesome. I hate MW and my dad hates mayo, so she'd make a batch of whatever (tuna, egg salad), or sandwiches for each of us with out preferred choice. Talk about extra work!

OMG they both make me want to hurl!!!  LOL

It is my number one most hated food item... if it can even be called food.  DH and I knew we were meant to be together when we discovered our mutual loathing for it and now when we go grocery shopping one of us will sometimes sneak a giant vat of the nasty stuff into the cart just to gross out the other.  Ahhhh, love. 

I'm with gooey on this one.  Mayo repulses me.  The thought of it makes me cringe, and I get LIVID when restaurants make mistakes and put in on my sandwich.

Same here. My dh taught me what real mayo is.  Now I don't care either way, but I do love the new container they come in with the wide lid and a place to wipe your knife off.

 I guess I don't care really. Grew up on miracle whip, but can eat mayo just as well. I think the MW is sweeter? maybe.. something about the taste. either way, it's all the same to me.. oh.. and I prefer the light stuff or FF. Try to keep the calories down if I can..
