This has been on our news since early afternoon. It is so devasting. The whole enjine of the freight train went into the first car of the metrolink. Please keep all these families and their loved ones in your prayers.

That is awful! I'll be thinking of them all!
It was a;; over the news yesterday here as well. How horrible!!
WOW! Horrible accident! I was involved in one of those years ago and luckily I wasn't injured but getting out of the train and getting through the accident site was a nightmare....I hope the people who were injured weren't injured too seriously and prayers go out to the families of those who lost their lives.

How sad.
Rosa sat so that Martin could walk. Martin walked so that Barack could run. Barack ran so that our children could fly.
Gosh...that is horrible. I hate seeing this kind of stuff. I'll keep them all in my thoughts and prayers.
Wow, my friend sent me the news links to this because he lives down there, my family still does and I use to. What an awful thing to happen.

Whoa. that is so tragic. And very sad.
If life gives you lemons, go find an annoying person with paper cuts.
Wow that's terrible...prayers for the families of those involved.
Saw that on the news a little bit ago. That's so awful.

It was on all afternoon, and now it's Saturday and not a word! Hopefully everyone is out of the wreakage now, and being treated. It was the freaky-ish thing to see the engine of the freight train half way up inside the metro link train. Just HORRIBLE!
I live in Chatsworth. Usually not a very news worthy place. People think L.A. busy ,lots of people, traffic........so on. This part of L.A. is still a very small community . We had helicopters flying over the house nonstop last night. Every time one went over we said a prayer, knowing there was someone seriously hurt. Today there is news media all over the place and my daughter's high school is being used as a staging area for the families. It is pretty quiet , we are all in shock. The fire deptment is still up there looking for people. I have a friend who got off the train in Chatsworth, right before it happened. Our thoughts and prayers are with those families. Sad day around here. We heard on the news this morning that there are 17 dead and over a hundred injured.
