It depends on what the subject is and who the recipient is.  Some people I only email, some I only text and others I only call on my landline.

E-mail always. I only use the phone in cases of emergency or for text messages - well, and to hear my dd's lovely voice from the other side of the world.

Re: Question of the Day 9/5
EMAIL!  I hate to hear the phone ring.  I think with all the phone solicitors and my husband calling to have me "do something" and our partners calling with problems, that it has negative implications for me.  And email allows me to think about what I'm going to say first.  (I'm usually more funny this way!)

Once I leave its email or text... I very rarely answer the house phone..

Re: Question of the Day 9/5
Hate talking on the phone. Only time I do it is if it's something that needs immediete action. Me and the BF don't even talk on the phone, it's all through text messaging. Live by text messaging. As well by email. I stay in touch with friends through email regularly. It just makes it so much easier!

I hate the phone...it just gets on my last nerve. I like email or texting, but I prefer face to face communication.

With my family I prefer IM'ing.  With friends, I prefer the phone.  Since getting my cell, I talk way too much on it!  For example, yesterday I was talking and IM'ing to my sister at the same time! I need some help!

I text most, followed by email. I always screen my calls, and I can't be talking on the phone all the time, so most people just text me.

Okay - so I can't stand the phone, am really bad about checking my email all the time, and have no idea how to text!!  I really would make a wonderful recluse!

Re: Question of the Day 9/5
I prefer phone, then email. I don't have any use for texting. If someone wants to tell me something, they can take a minute and dial my number and tell me if it's really that important. If not, they didn't really need to tell me and don't have to cost me more money than I'm already dishing out!

Email is great and efficient. I like the phone, but some people are long winded. I don't do texting--never have--seems cumbersome.

Mainly phone for family and a really good friend; probably more so just because they don't use email very often.  Love email though and I do text our youngest son (23) since I know he will see it right away.

I prefer email unless I am talking with my mom, then I want to talk to her on the phone.
