Anyone taken any pics to show us yet??? I can't wait to see. I know these things are simple but they will give you a basis to start with.
Ok now lets make a tag and show how it looks when you ink distress/alcohol inking over the Gglimmer Mist. You end up getting a terrific look and it is very simple. You will spray your tag like you would anything else and let it dry. Once it is dry you will apply the ink in the areas you want using the ink pad, sponge or what you normally use to apply this. Here is my example:
This is not anything hard and its very quick. Depending on the ink colors you have you will get different and wondering affects. Try using a gold or silver ink on one. Try using it only on the very edge or try placing it all over the tag. You can do many different things.
Once your tag is ready you are able to embellish it any way you normally would but you have a great look.
Now I will give you all a few minutes to work and for any late comers to catch up. I am thinking I will be done posting everything about 8:30 eastern time. And like I said there will be a article for you to go back and look at or even print. I hope you are getting some help so far.
As a protective coat you can go to hobby lobby or micheals, even lowes and home depot or walmart and get a spray can of waht they call clear Top Coat. I use it on all kinds of thing. They have matt and glossy.
Well by now you should have several projects done or at least started but we have just a few more to go. Our next use is as an ink for stamps. Now I have found that the foam stamps work best for this. But I have only tried it a few times. What you will do first is on a wax piece of paper you will spray your glimmer mist color(s) like so.
This will serve as your ink pad. From here on you will use your stamps just as you would any other time. Stamping them into the ink on the wax paper and then onto the paper surface. I have not yet tried this on a glossy surface. One you have it all stamped out you will have a glimmer stamped image without use of glitter.
Just remember to immediately clean off your stamps like you always would.

This is what I got trying to use it on a regular rubber stamp. It doesn’t seem to work as well as you are just working it narrow lines. As you can see you don’t get the line distinction that you really want. I will be playing more with the stamping aspect of Glimmer Mist to see if I can find good tricks on this.
I will give you all about 10 minutes to play with you project. Is everyone doing ok? Any questions?

what can you use to clean the stencil off?

If it is a plastic one the best way is to take it in the bathroom or kitchen and wash it off in the sink.
I use baby wipes to wipe off my rubber stamps, maybe they will work for the stencils too. Are the stencils plastic?
Sorry, jut jumped back in, ds just came home. He was on vacation for a week, I missed my baby

This is the last thing I have planned for the class
Now I have also done glimmer mist on some naked chipboard flowers and on Bazzill paper flower. I have done these things many time and I am always happy with the look
With the chipboard you do want to remember that you have edges that might be seen, so you want to make sure that you check the sides for their color and shimmer. Well that is all that I have for you. Like with all things, the more you use it, the better you become with it and the more uses you come up with. I will happily answer any questions you have the best I can and I hope that you enjoyed the class. Thank you!

Yes the stencil I used is plastic. Makes clean up super easy.
I really wanted to be here, but I'm just beat. My mind is going wonky!!! Well have to read the instructions later as I bought all the stuff needed.
i'm here finally...trying to get caught up. Can you believe Elijanna wanted a bath, snack, and tucked into bed? LOL

I just read the class, (didn't actually practice) it had some great info. I have been toying with the idea of GM.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Great class! Thanks for the ideas. I've never used Glimmer Mist before but I have four bottles in my shopping basket now!
THANK YOU Amanda! I enjoyed this class even though my computer decided to freeze up and restart in the middle.
I do have pictures...do we post them in this thread or somewhere else?
