He was hired at my old job when I was away on a work trip. When I came back, everyone tried to fix me up with the cute new guy. We worked in opposite ends of the building, but ate lunch together. I thought he was arrogant, annoying and gay! LOL! Plus he smoked and would sometimes come to work hung over.
I asked out another guy in the office, and he turned me down. So I finally gave in and went on a date with DH. Turns out he wasn't that bad, LOL! We went out for dinner and spend four hours afterwards talking in the parking lot. One year later to the day we were married. So much for first impressions!

In a yahoo chat room. We spent several evenings chatting through IM, then one evening I realized he was attempting to ask me a date (he's extremely shy). Took him 40 minutes of chatting, but he finally asked me out. We've been together over two years now!

4th grade. Seriously. We didn't start dating until we were seniors in HS, though.
On the internet. Yahoo Messenger to be exact. He was up at like 3 in the morning and I had left my computer on so he thought I was up so he sent me a message. It took us a week before our schedules finally meshed. We have been together three years in October. Married for one year!

He was a motorcycle team mate & friend of a guy I was dating. He actually asked his Buddy if he could date me after we all drove 400 mile through the desert to a motorcycle race where I was informed that I was the Pit Crew.

We were set up as a blind date for our senior prom. He spent all summer getting me to agree to a long distance relationship when we went off to college in the fall. I was so ready to start with a blank slate at an out of state school where I knew no one. Ah, well. I guess he was right - we recently celebrated our 12th anniversary.

I was a waitress at a small hometown restaurant. My fellow friend and waitress said to me, "If you don't ask him out, I will ask him out for you!" SO...I asked him out and then we were friends for many years and then now we have been married for almost 4. (DEC.) Let's just say I've known him since I was 17 and I turn 34 next month. It was a loooong wait. But worth it.
