Where have you people been??? I can't believe you've never heard of National Night Out. It's been going on for YEARS! As far back as I can remember, it's always been the first Tuesday of August.
That being said, they postponed it around this area of Texas because it's been incredibly hot, where the heat indexes are 110, which is dangerous. I think it's set for the first Tuesday of October.
