Would you like to be a Cherry Name?

 So Brandon says it is easy to do, but he just wants to make sure that "most" people are okay with it. The thread I started it seemed like a couple did not like it but most others were okay. However, I know some people would rather give opinions anonymously so here is a poll.

Come on gals, it will be fun and just remember if it does cause a problem after we start it, it can always be removed.

 I put down yes cuz I beleive you mean to add on a "title" that's a cherry name, yes? Like Cherry Blossum for newbies, once you reach a certain amount of posts you move up to Cherry Stalker or something like that? hahaha. Cuz I'd be all up for that! Would be fun!

 I voted no.  I would just hate to be thought of as a "newbie" even if it was wrapped up with a pretty bow and given a cute name like "cherry blossom."  It's the egalitarian in me, I suppose.

I should go find the original post... but would this be based on posts or when you signed up here? I guess I would have to say no... I have been on and off here since 2003 but I wasn't a big poster to threads.

 it would be based on number of posts and when you hit a milestone number (not sure what those would be yet....) it would go to a new name.

as for being a newbie, you recognized that by the number of posts you have so it would be no different.

I'm with Jaime. I've been here since the beginning of SG and I don't want to be thought of as a newbie or anything else just because I don't talk as much as the new gals.

and yes....the board is always slower in the summer.

 I voted yes because it sounds like it would be fun to 'earn' your 'cherry degrees' based on our individual imput to the MB.  Also, if we don't like the trial run, it could go back to the way it is now. 

I'm always willing to try something new...I enjoy the adventure of the unknown!
