I am going to start on an advent calendar (I can't wait!). My only fear is choosing a paper I will hate in a couple years
If you all help me, I can blame it on you
My only requirement is that is can't be a bright red, and no pink.
thanks!
Basic Grey was nice this year , and so was Bo Bunny.

I liked Heidi Grace it was blue no reds or greens of any variation. That might not be what you are looking for.
Basic Grey is the most classy to me. But you obviously want to go with something that does not clash with your Christmas theme/colors if you have one.
I love Basic Grey Fruitcake! The colors aren't too bright and I think it will not look dated. It seems more classic to me.

I like the old world christmas stuff. Those santas from yesteryear are beautiful to me. so anything that goes with them I love.

Not sure I have a favorite, but I do need some new papers for Christmas. I always seem to have SO many pages to scrap and I get tired of the same papers quickly...
I'd have to go with Basic Grey also. Hopefully you wouldn't hate it in a few years.

I love basic grey, altered a few christmas items with it.
I would have to say Basic Grey too.

My favorite is Elsie Noel. Of course it meets none of your requirements.
I have a ton of Fruitcake and Dasher and have only used it on one project so far because it is not my style.

I'm not late
Everyone else is way too on time.
0/3 for February
I am definitely a christmas collector. I have at least 2 vertical papers full of just christmas. Don't ask me why! I have favorite bits and pieces for different companies, but my favorite complete line is from Websters pages - ting a ling I think it is called. ACOT used to have most of it, but there are only 2 sheets left. If you go on their website, you can find it. http://www.websterspages.com
omg, Diane...I have that whole collection. I love it!
Unfortunately, I need a lot, as the advent calendar I am doing is fairly large. It is all about the chocolate

Ha! I'm glad I read the question and didn't just type in what I was thinking, which is, "and to all, a good night!"
But I have a few favorites (going to have to add the Webster's Pages to my list now...thanks Diane ) I really like the MM line that came out last year...a little aqua thrown in with the reds and greens. I also like the BG. When I did my Scrap your Christmas Journal I used bits and pieces from lots of lines that way I could use all of my faves and not have to go buy more stuff! I also love the Hambly Kraft looking/grid papers for Christmas...they have red on kraft and black on kraft...goes a long way to add some layers!

i rarely buy theme papers anymore. i go with colors instead of holiday lines. probably because i have tons of it from past seasons waiting to be used so i try to close my eyes when it comes to specific holiday themes. if i bought a line it would probably be basic grey because they are my go-to company. i have some daisy d's christmas papers....vintage looking. and heidi grace has some cute holiday papers. i want to see your calendar when it's complete!
