I must be the only person on the planet with an ATG with issues. I think it was the tape that came with it. I got it off ebay and I tell ya...I've trippled checked that I loaded it right and everything, so I am thinkin the tape was old. IDK, I ordered new from a diff site and I hope it works. If not, man am I gonna be upset!
HOORAY LESLIE!!!!

YES! I LOVE that ATG gun and that site is the BEST price. I don't remember if it's my fault that Laura uses it. I've even altered mine, because it is pretty darn ugly. Mine is well loved. It has some bling that's fallen off and needs to be replaced. I posted a pic on my blog www.hauteartist.blogspot.com
I just bought one this weekend too! It's alot to handle, so that will get some getting used to!

Hey cboguhn - Did you paint your atg with acrylic paint? How'd you get it so pink!? I want to paint mine the color of raspberry sorbet!
Leslie
Leslie,
I just used regular old spray paint. I have a friend whose boyfriend sanded hers and primed it because it's on plastic, but I have never had a problem with the paint coming off. The pink is kind of light so I had to put quite a few coats of paint onto it to cover up that RED. I'm so glad I altered it.

Ha! Charleen, you probably are the reason I bought mine. Everyone was talking about them when I was working at the store, so, of course, I had to have one too. It really is the best tool I've bought for scrapping!
And Shannon, I don't think you will have a problem with your pages falling apart with the adhesives you're using, I just think it's cheaper to use the ATG gun to adhere papers to each other...definitely saves a little time too over the peel off tabs!
Jen--I don't know what to say about your ATG gun...hopefully it was just old adhesive...that's horrible that it's not working for you. So disappointing!

I have one for about a year and I LOVE IT! It has paid for itself over and over. I don't think I could scrap without it now.

I have one of the guns. I love mine. I spent way more that 40.00 for mine. For me it is still worth the money.
I have found that I like the using taps when I have smaller items.

Brittney,
I did not prime mine. I do have multiple coats of paint and I've never had a problem with it wearing off or scratching off either.
