Love this stuff! I only have 2 bottles though and now I'll have to get more. Changing the flowers is a great idea! I'm gonna try that now!

You can purchase the supplies after the class if you like and complete them whenever you want.  This article will be posted indefinitely.  My article from the crop last year is still published, so I cant' see this one going away.

1 or 2 bottles of Glimmer Mist is more than adequate to learn the basics from this class.

The Lavendar Fields is a gorgeous purple, too.  I am in love with pretty much all of the colors I have.

The most important thing when using Glimmer Mist is to make sure you shake it well.  The bottom will look like this when  you first pick it up:Image

It looks like you have to spray alot-does it warp the paper or chipboard because it's wet?

 Patti,

I am not sure off hand how many colors there are.  I would guess at least 40 at the current time.  I know that some of them are seasonal and only made in limited editions, or so I heard.

I hadn't thought about using it on flowers but I love using it to change the color of the Bazzil Just the Edge strips.

Re: Glimmer Mist Class ****HERE****
All of the glitter is settled on the bottom.  You want to shake it WELL, so all of the glitter mixes in and it looks like this:ImageTip**Even if you put it down for 10 seconds, the glitter seems to settle back down to the bottom.  Make sure you shake it every time you pick it up.  Tip** I usually save the cardboard 12 X12 sheets from my orders to use under my Glimmer Mist when I spray.  I usually spray enough glimmer mist on whatever I am trying to cover so that there is a thin uniform layer.

Re: Glimmer Mist Class ****HERE****
Sorry for the multi post! I have a problem with 1 of my bottles. It won't spray and if I pump it several times it is coming out of the base of the sprayer. Any ideas of how to fix it?

That's a great idea, Laura!!  TFS!!  Now that I think about it, all of the Doodlebug Paper Frills are white on the back.

Warping- It doesn't warp the chipboard and flowers.  Paper- it depends on how thin the paper is.  It did warp my Crate pp a bit but once it dries, you could probably reflatten it with a book.  It is just warped a bit around the edges.  HTH!

Re: Glimmer Mist Class ****HERE****
Here is a piece of chipboard that I sprayed it on.  I am using the Red Velvet here on a white piece of chipboard:ImageYou can use a heat embossing gun to dry the Glimmer Mist quicker.  Be careful not to let the heat get too close to the piece or you could burn it.  I recommend moving the embossing gun around while drying it. ImageHere it is dry:ImageTip**See how in the above photo there is a spot that isn't the same color as the rest of the chipboard?  If you notice the photo where it is wet, that area wasn't covered with as much Mist as the other areas.  You could add a second coat to the entire piece to try and even out the color.   I have also discovered that if you have spots with extra Mist and notice them while it is wet, you can take a paper towel and dab up those areas.    I think this works best so you don't get too much color and it doesn't take a really long time to dry.Tip**The more Glimmer Mist you spray, the more concentrated the color.  This can be good or bad, depending on the shade you desire.Tip**You can spray Glimmer Mist in one color and let dry.  If the shade isn't what you were looking for, try another shade on top of the first.  You will get some really cool colors by mixing and matching your colors.
