How could I have forgotten Lost Boys!!! That is definitely a cult classic from the 80's. Who would have guessed that our wonderful shy guy from Can't by Me Love would have gotten on to be a McDreamy??

PRETTY WOMAN without a doubt!! Also loved the one with Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith, it took place during the war, she was a spy and lived with a family in Germany, she looked after kids, can't remember what it was called. Maybe someone can remember the title?
Oh, I almost forgot about these!
Cocoon
High Spirits (very early Liam Neeson, anyone seen this? "It's bahoogy night!")
Working Girl (this had the big hair!)

Karate Kid was awesome! All the sequels, not so much. (Although the second one had the awesome Peter Cetera song!)
How about John Cusak in the 80s? Better Off Dead, One Crazy Summer, Say Anything....

Heathers was good, but I never saw Drop Dead Fred.
Anyone see Date with an Angel? Another movie my grandparents taped for me.
Hey, was Outsiders 70s or 80s? Love that movie, and also Tex which was also SE Hinton I think.

Drop Dead Fred was with Pheobe Cates and Neil from the Young Ones. He was her imaginary friend when she was little and came back to her later when she grew up. So so funny! You should see it if you can find it. Lots of stupid humor.
HEATHERS!! Now that is a classic too. Why did they stop making these wonderfully cheesy movies???

I wasn't allowed to see Porky's when I was a kid, but DH has fond memories of it. Wasn't allowed to see Police Academy either, but since we had a copy of it at home I watched it whenever my parents were out of the house. I was such a rebel, LOL! Still haven't seen Porkys.
Any 80s movies that were on the banned list??
And hey, did anyone mention Wargames? Classic!
