I have been watching Nancy Grace this evening and they are talking about the poor little girl that has been missing since yesterday 3/31.  She apparently got into an argument with her 10 year old brother and stomped outside mad.  This little girl is only 7 years old, my question is well I have several questions I guess.....Is it normal when your kids argue that one who is only 7 years old stomps outside?  If so do you leave them outside for four hours before you decide its time to look for them? Call me crazy here but NO WAY in hell does my 8 year old go outside by himself.  I barely let my 9 1/2 almost 10 year old outside without me and if so he is to check in every 20 min's.   Call me over protective by I find this disturbing.  Unfortunately for this little girl it doesn't sound good I am hoping they do find her of course alive and hopefully unharmed but the outcome isn't looking good. Now we live in what I consider a nice upper to middle class neighborhood and I like all my neighbors but SORRY my kids don't go outside without me.  People may call me over protective but I simply dont trust anyone these days and this situation saddens me terribly.  If someone had checked on her even 15 mins later she could be sleeping soundly tonight in her own bed.  I am so sad for her parents and the guilt her brother must be feeling right now.   I feel for them and cant imagine the terror they are feeling right now but I just keep coming back to why didnt the aunt whom was watching those children ever bother to check on that little girldiscuss.........
