This is the second time I am writing this as my computer bombed out the last time just after I pressed the send button and I don't see it anywhere so here we go again! So sorry I haven't been around much, but things have been so hectic since I came back from CKU! I think it's this time of year it's always so crazy!! I have tried to leave some praise in the gallery !Here's a short breakdown: - I arrived in Florida on the Tuesday after travelling for 25 hours. Met Carissa, her BF (who is such a funny guy) and her dear mom for dinner. Had some really great laughs and loads of fun. Carissa kept all my online shopping at her house that I had shipped there until I came, isn't she just to sweet! Posted a picture of her in the gallery with all my boxes (one of which contained Sam's beloved STITCH, she hasn't put him down since I got home, he goes everywhere with her)! LOL, thanks Carissa!! Wednesday morning went to Michaels and a blast with my credit card . Carissa and her sweet mom took me to Downtown disney and waited around patiently while I looked around (I was like a kid in a candy store, LOL), they are totally awesome, thanks you guys! {{hugs}}. Thursday, Friday and Saturday I attended CKU, which was great fun! Met loads of fun girls from all over. Tim Holtz's class was great, he is so full of energy and so excited about all his products! Do any of you have his new scissors, I bought some there and they are fab and look so funky!! Got loads of free stuff to take home and did some great projects (still need to finish them though)! Packed my bags on the Saturday night (took forever) and left for the airport on the Sunday morning 9.30am. Got home on Monday night at 8pm. Baggage was overweight had to pay $50 While I was gone, Sam learned to ride her bike without the training wheels and she slept over at my mom's (first time ever, she has never slept over before). So proud of her. While I was gone DH finished making me a table for my scrap room, so I did some organising (still busy) SIGH!! Still buying, SIGH!! Only scrapped one page (a single) since I have been back. Will post later.Looked for halloween costume in US, but didn't find anything (not that I looked around to much) and Sam didn't really know what she wanted to be yet. So we ended up making her costume( thank goodness for my mom). She decided the night I came back after she saw the Minnie ears I bought at Disney for her, a PIRATE PRINCESS. She looked adorable. Will post pictures later. Halloween isn't a big thing here, only just starting out here, so it's only really celebrated in the security estates (I have some friends who live in them) so we had one trick or treating session on Wednesday and another on Friday! Sam and her best friend were walking around saying "Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! LOL, where they got that from? She won't tell, LOL!!! She has a stash of candy in her room now! At least she does ask me before she eats some! Well most of the time! It's almost the end of the school year (November 30), so we are also busy with school and ballet concerts, parties and all sorts.DH has eventually given into my whining and agreed to rip up all the carpets and install wooden floors (thank goodness he hasn't received my credit card statement yet, LOL!!!!) We did the TV room and it was quite a job, but looks great. 4 more rooms to go!! Will probably only do 1 more this year and tackle the rest in the new year!So what's news here, have I missed anything?Have a great day!B xxx
