our military store has some great deals and GC giveaways. I went at 6am last year and wasn't even close to the first 100 customers so this year I think I'll try getting up at 2am. lmao

Starting last year, yes.  I saved so much money, I'm doing it again this year.  It would be easier if I had help, hopefully DH can come up and meet me when he gets off work (he works nights).

No flipping WAY!  I did about 6 years ago and came home with such panic attack and anger of all the crazy people fighting over toys I couldnt bring myself to do it again.  Seriously, sometimes the deals really arent that great anyways, and the lines ugh.  I know I am gonna get bashed for this one lol, but people who fight over darn toys and such, I just have to shake my head over.  Flame away but seriously if you gave me $2000 to spend I still wouldnt go lol. Plus I really dont have that kind of money to spend, my kids get one big thing from me and the rest comes from family and friends.

Going to this year, but for me, not for Christmas lol. I need a new TV and there have been awesome deals in the past. So, since I have to work Thanksgiving evening, I'm just gonna stay up and hit a store to get a TV and maybe a new DVD player.

I do,   last year my lss opened at 5 and everything was 40% off.  score  then off to micheal and walmart.  More shopping this yearjust dont know where yet this year.

I like to get out on Black Friday and hit the big mall up in Albany (our local one has like five stores in it). It's the only time of year I like the crowds. I want to see if my girlfriend will come with me this year, so I can buy stuff for DH when he's not around. But since I'm too nervous to drive up there, I can't go alone!Anyone wanna come with me?

Last year was my first time and I scored some great deals. I'm not into the fighting, I look at it as if they want it that bad they can have it it's not worth fighting over. In the Target ad they had a 500GB External Hard Drive for $87 which I may go try to get. That may be one of those things that go fast so we shall see.

One of the outlet malls near here opened at MIDNIGHT last year, and they were swamped!  Some stores only had 1 or 2 people working.  They honestly didn't know they were going to get that kind of response!But, um.... NO, I don't shop that day.  I celebrate Buy Nothing Day

Woo Hoo - I get up at like 4am.  Yup - definitely crazy like that.Learned the hard way NOT to go to WalMart.  Definitely not worth it.  Makes me wonder what society has come to!

I just can't. It takes all the Christmas mojo out for me. I know there are some "killer deals" but most of it can be found at the regular sales for almost the same amount. I'm not into saving $5.00 and have myself hating Christmas shopping.  Not worth it.

I don't do the early morning thing.  I have found that late night shopping is dead and they have a lot of great sales going on then too.  I usually don't try for the hottest toy of the that year, like Elmo, so I'm not too worried about out of stock issues.
