I'm sitting here with Brandon looking through all the pretty pink paper that I can't buy yet because we have two little boys. He told me I should just make one for our cat Sissy. I was just wondering if any of you have ever made a scrapbook for your pets? Let me know what you think about it.
Here's two layouts I did of my kitties. I have more, they're just not uploaded. I scrap them because they are part of our family too!
On a molecular level, I'm very busy.
On more than one occasion...and lots of layouts of the same pet! My dog is such a part of our family, I really think of her as a separate personality! In fact, here is one I did the other day, in keeping with your pink theme: I'm a dork, I know, but she's part of our lives!
Check out my gallery - half of my photos are of my two cats

Here's a 6x6 album I did for R's dog (Chance). http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery_vie ... ,,7204I've done other pages for animals and use a variety of different colors... Including pink!Welcome to the board!
Thanks for the welcome! I've actually never srapbooked before. Brandon told me it's expensive and I might have to go get a job to support my habbit
Ohhhhh! This is MrsEcho?Welcome to the MB. Yes, scrapbooking can be expensive.
I always do layouts of my dog since she is part of the family. Welcome to the board!
Welcome Mrs. Echo!It can be expensive...but it doesn't have to be as bad as some of us make it. My thoughts after compiling a stock of supplies that will take me 500 layouts to get rid of instead of the challenge of 50 I've given myself, is this: Buy what you will use, and use it now. Save your scraps for future embellishments...and keep doing that. I am more of a, "I MIGHT figure out a use for it so therefore I must have it now kind of scrapbook shopper"! Yeah, it's expensive when you do it that way!I'm thinking you need to ask someone for supplies for Christmas...SOMEBODY might be able to hook you up!
I've down tons of cat layouts. Seeing as I have no kids, they pretty much are my kids! So why not make an album? They're a part of the family too!
P.S. Welcome to the board!!

Welcome to ACOT!!!I have tons of Los that I do about our kitties. I have a little girl and tons of girly LOs so it gives me a chance to scrap boy-like pages sometimes. Our kitties are part of our family and I love doing pages about them!!! If you are documenting your family history, they are part of your family IMO.There are other subjects you could use to scrap the color pink- nieces, moms, grandmas, inattimate objects, hobbies (ie scrapbooking!!!), events (Valentines day), love, and you can always use them to make cards. Pink is my favorite color, so I find it goes it with a lot, lol. Take a look through the gallery and you will find a lot of inspiration.Good luck!!!
I have tons of layouts with my pets, as matter of fact..I have books. I love scrapping them!

My cockers are my babies. I've mainly been scrapbooking them, though PS_Sosa has got me working on scraping my old zoo pics.I've done girl doggies in pink layouts.Hmmmm.... I don't think the tiger at the zoo would look good in pink, but maybe the hippos ???
I put all of my cat los in the family album because they are a big part of the family and our memories. Welcome to the board!Laura
Welcome! Brandon has a great idea, you could do girly layouts for your cat. Or you could do an "All about me" album of yourself and use all the pink you want.
I scrap the cats sometimes too when they do something funny. It just ends up in DDs book though
