Cherry Tart

Dolls of color
My 3 yo DGD is very blond and blue-eyed, but she purposefully picks out dolls of color because she loves Dora The Explorer.  I can't imagine why anyone would frown on that.
The best things in life are not "things".

Both Of my Grandsons are  the boys of a pale white skinned redhead and a very light skinned Hispanic with black curly hair.  They are 3 and 5 and I think I get more looks on the fact that they have dolls with them  then the color of the dolls.  The 3 year old, Parker, only wanted three things for Christmas, 2 were Baby Einstein Movies and the other was a Baby Alive Doll, the one that goes Uh Oh in her diaper.and he got what he wanted.
