I didn't want to bring this to the board but felt it needed to be brought to others attention in case they were feeling upset like I am. I feel better in a way now nowing I am not the ony one this happened to but also upset that it happened to more than just me. So I am just putting this out ther to let the people who think they are the only ones know that they arent. The swaps I recently just got back form Jamie and Janette were missing alot of items even ones I personally made. 1 swap I got back only had 4 items in it including the paper. When I looked on the link for the swap it showed all of the spots were checked in so why did I only get a few back? I also sent what I remember to be $50 in shipping and I receved 1 flat rate box and 1 regular priority box back. So where is the rest of my money? I did PM Jamie about this she did say she has $30 of mine written down and she would send me a $10 gift card since I don't have paypall, if I did she would sent me $12 thru that. I still havent recieved anything. I do hope that it wasn't everyone who got shorted even though I do know of a few other girls who were shorted swaps and money as well. If you would like to flame me for posting this that is fine, I feel I did everything I could have from my end.Hilary

Oh no! That sounds very wrong! I got swaps that were short a few items...due to flakers, I guess, but not that many!

i was shorted a few items as well and was promised that i wouldn't be so ??? i also sent in 3 yards of fibers for one swap and they were replaced with 1 yard per person of different ones, which really didn't settle well with me, i heard a few other people didn't receive their own items back from swaps and theirs were also replaced with less quality/quantity than they had sent in.sorry hil i know you are not alone in this and i hope that you get back what you sent in. it sucks because this shouldn't have happened.

Hilary,I too was shorted some of my own items, but because I consider Jamie a friend and I know she was overwhelmed with swaps, I just let it go. Janette, tried her best with a lot of swaps. I just let it go, because their are more important things. I know that we, as a board, have had this discussion before, but I just wanted you to know that it can upset you and hurt your feelings. It's OK! If I can be of any assistance, please let me know. There are some items in swaps that I simply will not use. Not my cup of coffee, so to speak. I guess considering I was in all but one of COscrappers swaps and in one swaps I had 4 spots, that ticks me off, but what can I do? I can't charge her with mail fraud, because I really think it was something more serious than that, but no one can find her, so I guess that's that. I think she might have either gone into hiding for some reason, ie. abuse. Maybe she went into the witness protection program. Who knows?Just wanted you to know that your not alone in your feelings. I hope you have a better day!!And really if there is something that I have that I'm not going to use I will be happy to send it to you. Just let me know. I consider you my friend too!! I want to help my friends if I can!!

I saw this post last night and tried to write something a few times about my feelings about it. Robin said it well, IMPO!!! Hey thats not a bad thought maybe exchanging or RAK some of the items that we won't use. And that has nothing to do with the quality or the beauty of some of the items. Just some things are not my style or I can't fit it on a LO.

This is why Ilove this board, you are all so nice and we care about eachother so much! Thank you all for your offers to send me stuff. I don't want all of you to be out postage and stuff. The thing I am really wanting to get back is my lef tover postage that I mailed in. That is alot of money to be out.I also let COscrappers swaps go. I think something bad must have happened. I hope one day she will come back on and tell us all that she is ok.

You are not alone..I have 3 swaps with Charlie's angel I never received, and about 5 swaps with Coscrapper..so I put it now as lesson learn

I know I posted.....somewhere...that my swaps are postal......I did some and more today.......it does take me time to get to the po now adays because I work when the po is open and I can't leave for lunch....but most are they are on the way....if you had any questions you could always pm me.......ETA that no, I'm not hosting anymore because of that reason....I have my last one that is due this month and I'm done hosting

Again ...I am so glad I have stopped swapping (with exception of Art_Teacher).Unfortunately, I take this kinda stuff personal whereas some of you can let it roll off you back....I am not at that stage yet...maybe someday.

Hi Hilary and the rest of the boardI wanted to write this to let you know your gift cert is on its way 15.00 i sent, please note i wasnt going back on my word but i am now working what seems to be a 60 hr work week and im exhausted after not working for almost 4 mos. I am glad to be back to work but pooped.Re your item s all i can say is I am sorry you feel this way I take alot of pride in hostessing much of the old group and the ones that have been by my side now know this. I put out alot of $$$ as well.If your short on cardstock or papers from swaps pm me and i will see if i have extras.I know Art Teacher asked me for extras in 1 swap but i didnt have but only 1 spot in that one.I have given up my own papers in my spots because of people being short and im not going to do it any more but what concerns me is if they werent flaked on why were you short.So please kindly email me the swaps and what you were shortShaneriae was also short i think on some cardstock and i did check they 2 were marked as being received so i will get hers ( if you read this shannon please drop me an email and please let me know again which ones ) getting ready to package up alot of pf swapsAs to anwser your question about your lost items well in the past i have lost probably 10 swap items from people but i probably had over 1000's if you take into consideration the # i have handled. I seen where your folders were received ( my concern ) im wondering if it got stuck in another swap? this happen to shaneirae. I know i received those and they were marked off. Personally if i lost something i remake the item or replace the item with the same quality. Unfortuantely, I didnt do of any of those.....Jamie

I'm still owed postage as well. I never looked too closely at my stuff to see if I was missing things as I was just glad to get them.It does make me mad, but I guess speaking up isn't the right answer either.I'm learning the hard way that sometimes people will always have excuses. and I'm not blaming just Jamie.Jenna
