Great idea!  above all, I'm thankful that our God is an awesome God--He is so loving and forgiving, even when I don't deserve it!I'm thankful for my family--for my loving sons who care more about their mom than anything else, and remind me each day with kisses and "I love you"s.  I'm thankful for my parents, who have always supported me in everything.  Even my in-laws support me, and never turned their backs on me--even when they should have.  I'm thankful for those who support me in finishing school--my dh, in-laws, and friends who watch the kids so I can get homework done.  I'm thankful for all of the friendships I've made here.  Even though I try to stay away from the board (so my house can be halfway decent), you all draw me back.  I could never leave you!I'm thankful for my dog, Tanner.  I believe he is truly "mom's best friend"I'm thankful for the roof over my head, food on the table, and healthy bodies.  A day does not go by that I don't thank God for how fortunate we are!  I'm thankful for Queen Mum for starting this thread!  we need to realize more often just how thankful we are.finally (for now), I'm thankful that my dh doesn't realize how much I spend on sb'ing!  lol

I am thankful for my son Elric, who is one of very best friends in all the world. he makes me proud to say I am his Momma.I am thankful for my very best friend Stacey. She is my partner in crime and pretty much everything else.I am thankful for my son's father Troy. No wonder why you are called Queen, this thought is awesome.  You are so right we all tend to dwell on the bad things this is exactly what we needed!  thank you!I have so many things to be thankful for:1) above all I am thankful for our Lord who without Him I don't think i could have gotten through all these years.  He has been my rock, He is always there for me!  I thank Him for all our daily blessings2) I am thankful for the wonderful hubby I have shared my life with the past 39 years.  If possible i love him more today than when we first married.  He is a good, honest and hard working person.  But more than anything I know he loves me just as much!3) I am thankful for my 3 children who are all healthy and have great sense of humor!  they are always making me laugh.  I love them all the same but I must say that my youngest, David is the one who is always there for me no matter what.  He is the one who worries more about us (his mom and dad).  He always includes us in everything he does and always shares what his babies do with us.  My daughter-in-law does the same, she always, always shares the twins adventures with us.  and for that I am so thankful too.4) I am thankful for my 9 grandchildren.  they are all so awesome.  I could go on and on and tell you about all their little personalities.  We are so blessed to have each and everyone of them.  Even the 2 that are in heaven left their marks on us.5) I am thankful for living in the greatest country in the world.  I am so proud of being an American!6) I am so proud of all our sons and daughters in the military.  Fighting so that this great nation of ours can remain just that and free!  So that we can enjoy our freedom that we often take for granted!7) I am so thankful that i have met some wonderful women here on this board.  There are those of you that are so dear to my heart.  I know you know who you are, no need to name names!8) And I am so thankful that my Los Angeles Dodgers are in first place.  And I know they will be in the world series this year.  Go Dodgers!

I'm thankful my sons made it to Pismo safely last nite, even tho they had truck problems. I'm thankful for all the health in my family.............and I'm really, really thankful for my extremely expensive horse I was just able to buy.  I'm thankful for 2 of the most loving parents ever, who have been married 50+ years. I'm thankful for my older brother, who I love very much and who keeps me grounded, and for my older sister, that I totally admire in every way. I'm thankful for a great SIL that I've know since school days, and I'm thankful for a loving, devoted, hard-working husband, that denies me nothing , and who really enjoys his family and living life to it's fullest.

I am very thankful alot lately. That me and my children are healthy and I am surrounded by loving and supportive family and friends. I think on that everyday since my seperation and focus on my many blessings.Health and love I think are the only things that matter because they are  so important and cannot be brought.

I'm being thankful for the fact that we have medical tests that can help us detect diseases early - and hopefully cure them.The medical system isn't perfect but we've come a long way in the last 100 years or so (and that's why they call it PRACTICING medicine)

Last thing, I am thankful for today that it will be weekend soon and I have two day off.

What an awesome idea!  I am thankful for so much, where do I start!  First and foremost I am thankful for God giving me my 3 beautiful healthy children.  They are the center of my universe!  I am thankful for my DH, although he can be a real jerk at times.  I am thankful that he does not abuse me or my kids and that he does go to work everyday and he doesn't cheat on me.  I am thankful for the roof over my head, the groceries that I have, the vehicles that can take us places.  I am thankful for friends.  Without friends, where would we be?  I am thankful that we live in a country where we can get on the internet and meet wonderful friends.  I am thankful for my wonderful fil (dh's real dad).  My kids just adore him as he does them.  I am thankful that my mom's altheizmers is slow in progressing so that I have more years with her.  I am thankful that my dear friend Traci introduced me to scrapbooking.
