Are you eating perogies, cabbage rolls and the whole bit? We usually had some sort of Ukrainian dishes, but not since I left home...unless mom is here visiting. Miss it!

We don't do anything.We used to when my Baba and Dido were alive. We just had a family dinner.But we did have holipchy(cabbage rolls) for supper today.

Somewhere in my family we are part Ukranian but we are Polish too. My mom's parents were polish. So as we say in our family since my mom was polish and my dad was a "hillbilly" from the south, I'm a hillbillypolock. But I sure as heck know what periogis & stuffed cabbage is. OMG I miss all of the polish foods very, very much. Now that I live in CA I don't get them much...unless I make them myself and if I'm lucky that's once a year. Ahh...the memories. My Mom made the BEST cabbage rolls in the world and now she's passed on a few years ago nobody's compares...not even my own.
So Anyway, sorry to jump track. Merry Christmas to you gals...Ukranian style.
