nope you are not alone...hopefully he is feeling normal again and you can get some sleep? and he can too?I was thinking about that all day, after seeing my grandson yesterday, just how many toxic substances and medicines that we have in the house....gotta go get me some baby proofing stuff.and a gate because now he can stand by himself

Hes doing fine now, thank you girls for thinking of me and him. I have to tell you that was one of the most horrible things I had to watch my baby go through. I think what upset me the most was not that it happened as I know accidents are possible, but that it could have been prevented. I give my son 20 mg of Atterol every morning and as I said before I watch him put it in his mouth, swallow and ask him to open his mouth so I can see its gone. My sister hasnt called me since Sunday to even check. My mom and her apparently thought it was no big deal since hes "ok". I am just livid with both of them for thier nonchalant attitude. It could have done seroius damage to my son especially if he were to have a heart murmer. I read up after this entire ordeal and it could cause children or even adults to go into cardiac arrest if they have a bad reaction to that. Hes been running around and is back in preschool having a blast and being a normal excited and energic 3 year. I just cant explain how awful it was to watch him cry for over 18 hours and throw himself down on the floor and just be unconsolable. I have never felt so helpless in my life. My advice to any of you with children which I am sure you all already do so, but make sure all your medications are put up. Even over the counter stuff for children can kill them. Its sad and scary, and I thank my lucky stars my little man is a fighter and I could be with him to watch him to make sure he made it through this. HUGS TO you my friends!

glad he is okay Jenn..did you try telling your mom and sister what that could have done to him. OMG!! I would be mad at them too
