I do both but tend to lean towards the handwritten.... Just because I am usually to lazy to go type and print it off.

I use both. Sometimes, I hate my handwriting, so it just depends on my mood.
I do both. If it's something short, I'll hand write it - I practice it first. If it's long I computer it. I will say that I treasure everything I have with my mom's handwriting on it - She's been gone 11 years now. so, with that, I try to use my handwriting.jenna
I do both, depending on the layout and the space I have. The thing I like about computer journaling is I can fit it into a smaller space than I can handwrite. But, I too, use lines to keep me straight. I have bought a Vanishing Ink Pen...got it at Michael's. You draw lines with a template or ruler and in 48 hours they disappear.
I put my own scratch on there most of the time.........unless its long or lyrics.
I mostly hand journal, even the whole page to tell the story of a trip. About the only time I use the computer is when I want to re-create an invitation or song lyrics.

Good point, Laura, computer journaling does fit more text in a smaller space (and still legible, lol)
I have terrrible hand writing. i find it easier to had journal so I hide it. In an envelope, behind a tag, in a pocket, behind one of the pictures with a little tab or piece of ribbon on the top to pull it up, inside a lttle card. All kinds of ways to hide it.
I always hand journal though my writing isn't the best it is still part of me in my scrapbooks.
Have a coke and a smile!
SInce I am a lefty, my penmanship just stinks..so I was completely a computer for years, until I was left printerless a year ago and I started to "try" a little writing on my layouts, although I am never very happy with it. But I do think it is an important part of my books and I am trying to do more of it. A while back I was so lucky to get my grandmothers and great grandmothers very old picture books and aside from loving all the pictures, what I LOVED so much was their handwriting in there. It really did make a BIG difference...plus I would have never figured out who those people were Darn if they did have huge families!

I do both as well. I like the look of computer journaling, but figure I should have a lot of handwritten stuff for when I eventually pass my books along. Depends on the style of each page as well I think. As for me, I can't wait for the new journaling lines to come out from CHA!!
