Genome Comparison 0% Issue

There was a bug discovered in the recently released Genome Comparison project that would cause the program to sit at 100% CPU utilization and 0% shown completion. If you are stuck at this percentage for more than an hour please follow the instructions below on how to fix this issue.

The latest versions of Genome Comparison have the fix for the 0% issue.

For BOINC:
(Note: this was an issue with version 5.09)

You should hit 'reset project' and then 'update project' in the BOINC Manager. This will allow you to start processing the workunit with version 5.10 the Genome Comparison application.

For UD:
(Note: this was an issue with version 1.0.0.7)
You should go into your task manager and end the process. To do this, select "Start" -> "Run". When that window pops up type taskmgr and press enter. Next you'll see the Windows Task Manager and you'll need to select the "Processes" tab at the top. Then select the name "wcgrid_fcg_ssearch.exe" and press "End Process" button. The new version is 1.0.0.8. The version number is located to the right of the project name in the graphics.

Sorry for any inconvenience and thank for your patience.
