redoing old work units?

Hi there.. Just curious, I'm using boinc, I had completed doing a work unit somewhere in the b10200's and now I'm like getting old b055x work units. Why is this? how come we are doing old work units again?
Thanks

Re: redoing old work units?

Hello,

Just because the batch numbers are lower than the last does not mean we are going through old batches. This is actually a newer batch of workunits that are being crunched through all 8 filters on BOINC.

The way i understand it is that the numbers can refer to different targets being crunched and even coming from different labs i.e. the owner of the batch...... it's not like they all come from the same conveyor belt.
