WCG points vs BOINC points

I ran wcg with its own client for a long time and then switched to BOINC.

ArE all the points I accummulated prior to BOINC install are missing in BOINC. Why is this and is there a way to convert them to BOINC?

BOINC points and UD points are only combined here on the website. This is because BOINC points are multiplied by 7 to make them roughly equivalent to UD points.

The only definitive source for points information is the website.
